Trillium High School

The high school advising model is a mixed-age environment on every level, from advising to core classes, from community projects to internships, and from service learning to independent lesson planning. While state expectations and graduation course requirements are respected, students in the Trillium high school have a great deal of freedom in their class selections, schedule creation, and working partnerships with the whole staff. In an effort to give more voice to the older students at Trillium, opportunities increase in high school to include student input on the board and site council, all-school meeting committee, judicial committee, school newspaper, yearbook, assembly and workshop planning, field trips and more. By the time graduation occurs, Trillium students will be strong citizens with a true sense of community and global awareness and they will have a strong ability to problem-solve and resolve conflict.
